Wow, what a great vantage point! I've only visited this beautiful place, but I can't boast of such a wonderful photo! I do remember, however, that this is in the province of Lazio. Although it is on the border with Tuscany. I could be wrong.

ZoLa, This point is a viewpoint located in a village (I don't remember the name) on a nearby hill. The road to Civita goes past this viewpoint below and then turns into a bridge. It's a shame you missed it. You might get a good panorama from there, if the weather is good. I was getting more and more drizzly and the sky was generally dull. You're right about Lazio. I thought it was Tuscany, but I was mistaken because everything is so close there. I hope you'll have a second chance to visit this wonderful place!
