Yura, you've intrigued me about studying abroad. How much did that New York course cost and in what currency?G. Meremyanin, Find the website fotokto, it has all the information... it's distance learning. http://disted.ru/course is the website of the New York Institute of Photography. You'll find all the courses there, just pay.
Yuri S. "I'm here just like everyone else." (c) Definitely in my quote book, although I didn't understand a thing, probably because I didn't graduate from the Newer Institute of Photography, but from a regular TU-59 in Tolyatti.Viktor Kirillov, YOU should print your photos and give them to people... what will they say?!! They'll look at them every day, and what attracts their attention in them, the depth, the theme? I didn't notice anything in those posted here. Maybe I'm a bad expert, but for that to happen, and to hang a Shishkin painting, for example, on your wall... weak?!! And then we'll start talking about who graduated from what... think about how and what, and what, and who is the main subject of the photo shoot, the first commandment... wrong.

ultimar, About 5-6 years ago, they found a niche for vain Russian camera owners. They created a course in Russian and, for about $3,000, they sell professional titles, though respecting the bounds of decency - they send out works, receive comments, but I have yet to hear of anyone being denied a diploma... all are PHOTOGRAPHERS. The main thing is to mention between the lines Who's Who...Boris Gurevich,

Yuri S., Wow, the New York Institute of Photography, I'm incredibly interested. I'm boasting here about my phenomenal visual memory. If I see an interesting photo anywhere, even 40 years ago, I remember it but not the small details. I can't remember which magazine it was in, Ogonyok or Czech Photo, I don't remember the author, but I remember well how the composition and the plot are structured, if it's a reportage, faces, portraits, landscapes by Ansel Adams, and dewdrops by someone like Anatoly Erin. I've probably seen your photos here on the site before, but I just looked through them again in detail and not a SINGLE one! I can't remember what that means.Viktor Kirillov,
