Ein See entsteht – und verschwindet / n den Fünfzigerjahren entstand der Forggensee in erster Linie vor dem Hintergrund der Energiegewinnung durch den Bau von Staumauern und Wasserkraftwerken. Dabei wurden mehrere Dörfer sowie auch Spuren römischer Besiedlung überflutet, letztere werden allerdings einmal im Jahr wieder sichtbar. Denn während der Wintermonate wird zum Hochwasserschutz nahezu alles Wasser aus dem See abgelassen und man kann im See spazieren gehen.
