The Grand Canal is the largest and most famous waterway in Venice. It serves as a vital transportation route, forming a major corridor for water traffic in the city. The canal stretches approximately 3.8 kilometers in length and varies in width from 30 to 90 meters. The canal is lined with stunning architecture, including palaces, churches, and public buildings that showcase various styles such as Romanesque and Gothic. Santa Maria della Salute, shown here, is a prominent Roman Catholic church and minor basilica located at the Punta della Dogana in the Dorsoduro sestiere of Venice. It is one of the most recognisable landmarks in Venice, famous for its striking dome that can be seen from various points throughout the city. Photo by Michel Guntern, https://TravelNotes.org

Te photo attracted attention at once and calls again and again because of very high quality and artistic level. The only question is why it is in the category of transport whereas there is a beautiful view and cityscape. It is a pleasure to see a really quality work here. Regards.
